What is the Vanguard System ?

The Vanguard is a security system specially designed for recreational vehicles. It will notify you in case someone enters your vehicle, your vehicle is moved, or critical environmental data is detected. The system consists of two complementary units:

  • The main unit, the Vanguard device, integrates LTE-M cellular connectivity with GPS functionality (near real-time tracking), along with environmental monitoring (temperature, humidity, and air quality).
  • The intrusion sensor is used to detect any presence inside the cabin. It detects up to 7 meters away, with a coverage angle of 100 degrees. It is wirelessly connected to the main unit (Bluetooth), sending any intrusion alert in real time, with a range of up to 50 meters from the Vanguard.

 

No cables, no Wi-Fi, no tools, no screws, no drilling and no hassle. 

Just stick it in place, and you're done.

The system, developed in France, works with an integrated multi-operator SIM card, allowing it to stay connected wherever you are.

Is there a subscription?

We offer both a Free and a Premium plan.

Free Plan: Without a subscription, the mobile app provides only limited real-time data:

  • Displays if someone is currently inside the vehicle
  • Immediate GPS position of your vehicle

Premium Plan: The Premium subscription unlocks the full suite of advanced features:

  • Continuous GPS tracking
  • Environmental condition monitoring
  • Event history logging
  • Configurable alarm notifications

Every purchase includes 3 months of free access to the Premium plan, so you can enjoy all advanced features right from the start. This free access is automatically added when you select a premium plan for the first time after creating your account.

We offer various subscription options with different billing periods and payment methods to suit your needs.
Can I have more than one motion sensor?

Yes, the system supports up to 10 motion sensors.

Additional sensors can be purchased separately.

What happens if I travel internationally?

There are no additional costs when traveling internationally.

The Vanguard system comes pre-activated and fully operational with a multi-operator SIM card that works seamlessly across:

  • All of Europe
  • Switzerland
  • The United Kingdom
  • Canada

Can I use the system if I have an animal inside the vehicle?

Yes, the system is designed to be flexible. The Vanguard system features multiple levels of protection, all of which can be activated or deactivated individually. For example, you can turn off the intrusion detection sensor to avoid false alarms caused by your pet, while keeping the following features active:

  • Vibration detection (to detect movement of the vehicle)
  • GPS tracking (to locate the vehicle if stolen)

Additionally, the motion sensor is wireless and magnetic, making it easy to reposition or realign it away from areas your animal may pass through.
How the vibrations alert works?

The Vanguard system uses a finely tuned vibration sensor designed to detect when your vehicle begins to move.

It is calibrated to ignore minor movements, such as walking inside the vehicle or entering and exiting normally. This helps prevent false alarms while still ensuring you are alerted immediately if the vehicle starts to move unexpectedly, such as during towing or theft.
What information is the Air Quality providing?

The Vanguard system includes an air quality sensor that provides an Air Quality Index (AQI) to indicate whether the air inside your vehicle is safe or potentially harmful.

The gas sensor can detect a wide range of substances, including:

  • Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs)
  • Volatile Sulfur Compounds (VSCs)
  • Other gases, such as carbon monoxide and hydrogen

This allows the system to identify the presence of unusual or harmful gases and odors, which could indicate issues like:

  • Gas leaks
  • Poor ventilation
  • Outgassing from materials like paint, plastics, or upholstery
  • High VOC levels caused by cooking, food, garbage, or even human activity (e.g., sweating or breathing in enclosed spaces)
Does the system work even when we are inside the vehicle?

Yes, the Vanguard system remains fully operational while you are inside the vehicle. It will continue to detect events such as intrusions or vehicle movement and send real-time notifications to your phone.


However, to avoid unnecessary alerts caused by your own activity, the system includes several features:

  1. Smart Mode When enabled, Smart Mode automatically disables intrusion and vibration alerts when your phone is detected nearby—indicating that you are near or inside the vehicle. Once you leave the area, alerts are automatically reactivated.
  2. Arming/Disarming Timer You can temporarily disarm the system for a chosen duration, from 1 hour up to 48 hours. After the selected time, the system will automatically rearm.
  3. Customizable Alerts Each type of alert (e.g., intrusion, vibration, GPS movement) can be enabled or disabled individually, giving you full control over what triggers notifications.
What is the cellular coverage of the device?

The Vanguard system is equipped with a multi-operator SIM card, ensuring strong and reliable connectivity across multiple networks.

It is fully operational in:

  • All of Europe
  • Switzerland
  • The United Kingdom
  • Canada
  • The United States

The device operates on LTE-M networks, and will function anywhere LTE-M coverage is available in these regions.
How is the system installed?

Installation of the Vanguard system is quick and completely tool-free.

  • The main device comes with a wall bracket and adhesive, allowing it to be mounted on any flat surface without drilling or wiring. It can be easily unclipped from the bracket—for example, when you need to recharge the battery. Just stick it in place, and you're done.

  • The motion sensor features a magnetic mounting bracket, which allows it to attach directly to any metallic surface inside your vehicle. Alternatively, you can use the included adhesive pad to mount it on any surface. The magnetic bracket also allows you to easily adjust the sensor’s angle for optimal motion detection.
